COOKIES

  1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files created on the user's computer. They tell us how often you visit, the most-selected contents, and the security elements that may be involved in controlling access to restricted areas, as well as advertising views based on criteria predefined by THE ORIGINAL TRAVELLER FOOD, S.L. and that are activated by cookies served by said entity or by third parties that provide services on behalf of THE ORIGINAL TRAVELLER FOOD, S.L.

As a general rule, the cookies below are the ones in existence.

Depending on the entity that manages the domain from whence the cookies are sent and that processes the data obtained, we can identify two different types:
Proprietary cookies: cookies sent to the user's device from a device or domain managed by the publisher,
from whence the service requested by the user is provided.
Third-party cookies: cookies sent to the user's device from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but rather by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

If the cookies are installed from a device or domain managed by the publisher, but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered as the publisher's proprietary cookies.

There is also a second classification, depending on the amount of time the cookies are stored on the client's browser, which could be:

    · Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a webpage. These are normally used to store information that is only interesting to provide the service requested by the user on just one occasion (e.g., a list of products purchased).
    · Persistent cookies: the data remain stored on the device, and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie controller, which can span a period of a few minutes to several years.

Lastly, there is another classification with six types of cookies, depending on the purpose of processing the obtained data:

    · Technical cookies: Technical or necessary cookies are essential for our webpage to work correctly and include basic functions, such as session login or providing access to registered users to areas of restricted access. For these reasons, technical cookies cannot be deactivated.
    · Preference cookies: In using preference cookies, the webpage can remember information during the time you are browsing associated with how the page behaves or its appearance, like your preferred language or your region.
    · Statistical cookies: We use statistical cookies to see how you interact with the webpage, collecting anonymous information during the time you spend browsing it. The purpose of collecting this information is to make improvements to the website based on analysis of the aggregated data.
    · Marketing/Advertising cookies: These cookies allow us to manage advertising spaces on our website, app, or platform, based on criteria like the content shown or the frequency with which ads are shown.
    · Marketing cookies: Marketing cookies are used to analyze your behavior while visiting the webpage, and occasionally, for other providers to offer you personalized, relevant advertising based on your browsing profile.
    · External social media cookies: these are used so that visitors can interact with the content on different social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and are only generated for users of said social media platforms. The conditions for use of these cookies and the collected information is regulated by the pertinent social media platform's privacy policy.
