He owns a total of twelve restaurants in Spain and the UK, which together have accumulated seven Michelin stars. Quique Dacosta Restaurante (Dénia, Alicante) has been ranked for two consecutive years as the Best Restaurant in Europe and is one of the top twenty restaurants worldwide.

"A Fuego" is a continuation of Quique's path in the research of rice. Part of this work is published in "Contemporary Rices," a book that set a trend for the use of this product in high gastronomy worldwide.
